Sao Jose dos Campos, September 18, 2007 – Embraer participates in Jet Expo 2007, the second International Business Aviation Exhibition, to be held at the Crocus Expo Centre, pavilion 2, hall 7, in Moscow, Russia, September 19-21. The Company will promote its Executive Jets portfolio at booth 150, and will exhibit the Legacy 600 in the static area at Vnukovo 3 Airport.
To review the Embraer Executive Jets program achievements, the Company will hold a press conference on September 20, at 10:30 a.m., in hall C of the Crocus Expo Centre. The press briefing will be attended by Colin Steve, Embraer Vice President, Marketing and Sales – Europe, Africa and the Middle East, Executive Jets, and other corporate officers.
“Russia, as well as all of Eastern Europe, is an important business aviation market, which makes Jet Expo – the first Russian trade show exclusively for this segment – a good opportunity for expanding our business in the region,” said Colin Steven.
The Legacy 600 presents an added advantage for use in Europe in that it has been approved to operate in and out of London City Airport, being capable of flying from Moscow to London, and back, nonstop. The jet is also certified for operations at Cannes-Mandelieu, in France.
Embraer’s portfolio of executive jets includes, besides the Legacy 600, the Phenom 100 very light and Phenom 300 light jets, and the Lineage 1000 ultra-large jet.
