WICHITA, Kan. (March 6, 2008) – Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC), the world’s leading business, special-mission and trainer aircraft manufacturer, recently achieved certifications by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and several other international agencies for the Hawker 900XP. The aircraft is part of the latest evolution of the world’s best-selling business aircraft of all time, the mid-size Hawker 800-series. Deliveries of the Hawker 900XP in Europe and other countries began in December 2007.
In addition to the EASA certification, the Hawker 900XP also received certification in Australia, Aruba, Czech Republic, Macau, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and United Arab Emirates. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification was completed on August 24, 2007.
