SAVANNAH, Ga., February 18, 2008 – Gulfstream Aerospace announced today that it has received type certification from the General Administration of the Civil Aviation of China (CAAC) for five of its business jet models: the Gulfstream GV; G350; G450; G500 and G550. Those models join the Gulfstream GIV and GIV-SP which were certified by the CAAC on September 15, 2003. The type certification allows the registration and operation of the aircraft models within China. In 2005, the CAAC also granted approval to Gulfstream’s Long Beach, CA., service center to provide support for Chinese-registered GIV aircraft as well as Gulfstream GIIs and GIIIs.
